Until We Meet
by Syreeta Elie

Until we meet
My nights will be a little colder
My days a little shorter
My heart will beat a little less rapid
Until we meet
I know that my arms will be empty
My mind hurting from the constant thought of you
Minutes will seem to be hours
Hours will seem to be months
While months will seem like eternity
Until we meet
The stars in the sky will not affect me
with its gleaming sparkles of life

Until I am gazing at them in your arms
And the food that I eat will not be as fulfilling and nourishing
Until it is you that I share the my food with
And Until we meet
I will not feel whole
My world will seem incomplete
Until that wonderful day
When our eyes make first contact
And our bodies and souls collide in blissful whirlwind
The words will roll off my tongue like a sweet love song
"Hello, my love, I couldn't wait to meet you."

Far above in that sky,
Is a small star of mine,
Star where life exists,
That star shines brighter then light.

It is the star of fascination for me,
It is the star of my fantasy,
It is the star of my dreams,
It is the star that belongs to me.

A star that is all alone,
A star that is full of love,
A star where I have to reach,
A star of my dreams.

It is the star that lies beyond the sun,
It is the star of ultimate truth,
It is star of love and peace,
It is star where my soul lives.

It is the one to call me,
It is the one to attract me,
It is the one I’ll love to see,
It is the one I have to reach.

love Lives On
Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade
because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart,
far as long as there is memory,
they'll live on in the heart.

NATURE'S WONDERS

Have you ever wondered what makes the wind blow?
Could it be our loved ones blowing us a kiss?

Have you ever wondered what makes the stars shine?
Is it our loved ones keeping watch over us while we sleep?

Have you ever wondered what makes the skies cry?
Could it be our loved ones missing us?

Have you ever wondered what makes the sun shine?
Is it our loved ones giving us a warm hug?

Have you ever wondered what makes the ocean waves come pounding to shore?
Could it be our loved ones wanting to touch us once more?

There are so many of natures wonders and do we really know why?
Is there a higher power making sure we always remember the loved one we’ve lost and shall never forget.

love

love is where it all starts and love has no end for love lives on forever and warms the darkest heart
as the moonlight shines from the havens gate and lights up all our life.
The thoughts of you will never be far as love is strong than we are and the world you all ways be in our hearts.
From early mornings to the late nights we love you all ways to who you are.

Susan Simpson September 20, 2008

My husband Terry passed of this awful disease in Jan this year and then my mother 5 weeks later. I know what you are going through and it is so heartbreaking when we lose a loved one with cancer. All I can say is try and keep strong. God Bless you Ruth and you are now safe in the arms of Our Lord - free from all pain. Jean xx
